Second Saturdays

A great day for Scouts to visit is each month’s Second Saturday, because of the extra learning opportunities available to all visitors. These special activity days feature crafts, games, hands-on opportunities and performances revolving around a selected theme-of-the-month. Some months may involve activities on all three floors of the museum, others may involve activities based solely in the Education Center.

Cost: all activities FREE with Museum admission.

Length: activities from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Guided Program

Led by a professional museum educator, children participate in a hands-on session in the museum classroom, embark on gallery explorations and watch a live performance (choice of performances is based on the program, actor availability and the age of the children). 

Cost: $7 per student/$7.50 with lunch room rental

Length: 2 hours/2.5 hours with time for lunch

Group Size: Minimum of 15/Maximum of 70-130 students, depending on the program.

Tiger Scout Adventure Loop Day: Tiger Tales

Class session at 11 a.m.
Station based activities open from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Tiger Scouts, join us for a fun morning of learning and earning. Through stories, song, art, and a live performance, you can fulfill all of the requirements for the Tiger Elective Adventure: Tiger Tales.  No need to book as a pack.  Individual Tiger Scouts with a chaperone are welcomed and encouraged!

$8 per person (children & adults)

Wolf Scout Adventure Loop Day: Adventures in Coins

Class session at 11 a.m.
Station based activities open from 10-1 p.m.

Wolf Scouts, join us for a fun morning of learning and earning.  Through stories, experiment, creative building, and games, Wolf Scouts can fulfill all of the requirements for the Wolf Elective Adventure: Adventures in Coins.  No need to book as a pack.  Individual Wolf Scouts with a chaperone are welcomed and encouraged!   

$8 per person (children & adults)

Brownie Badge Day: Celebrating Community
Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 10:00 AM
Stations open at 10 a.m.
Required class sessions starts at 11 a.m.

Come spend a fun day at The Frazier making, learning and singing. Complete the activities and participate in the scheduled class session and you will walk away with your Celebrating Community Badge.
Some of the requirements will be stationed-based for scouts and chaperones to take care of on their own, but the majority will happen in our interactive and fun class session.
It is not a requirement to book as a group, Brownie/chaperone pairs welcome!
