Homeschool Program

Grades: 5 – 12 (NOT recommended for young audiences)

October 3rd from 10:30 – 12:30

For more than a century, readers have been terrified, surprised, and delighted by one of America’s greatest storytellers, Edgar Allan Poe. Whether about grisly murder or ethereal and untouchable love, Poe delivers to his audience a new thrill with each tale. This fall, for the 10th year, actors from the Frazier Museum Programming Department will bring several of Poe’s works to the live stage, fully engaging students with his poems and stories. The visit includes a performance with Q&A in the museum’s Brown-Forman Theatre, access to Beyond the Raven: The Poe You Don't Know exhibition which includes artwork and photography from local students and a Haunted History Investigation in the museum galleries. Families are more than welcome to stay after the program to view the Frazier Museum galleries.
