We’re excited to partner with Corn Island Archaeology for a very special day camp on Monday, Oct. 7!

For over 30 years, Anne Bader and her team have been digging beneath Louisville. In the process, they’ve uncovered some of the region’s most incredible stories of people and places. For this special one-day camp, they’ll join the Frazier education team to share what they did, how they did it, and what we can all learn from the discoveries.

Campers will work with Frazier staff alongside these archaeologists digging, analyzing, cleaning and classifying real objects, and learning the detective skills to become junior archeologists.

Since January of 2017, Corn Island Archaeology has been conducting archaeological investigations at the Beecher Terrace site, mere blocks from the Frazier. Campers will be working with actual objects pulled from this active dig site, as well as others in the area.

Day Camp runs from 9:00am – 4:00pm. After care is available until 5:30 for an additional $10

Limited space in two age groups (grades 1-3 and grades 4-6)

 Members $37

Non-Members $42

After care option until 5:30 - $10

What parents are saying about Frazier Camps:

“We have been coming back year after year and especially love the staff. The camp curriculum is diverse, fun and educational. It's a great place for all types of kids and the day goes by quickly given the packed daily schedule. I also appreciate the number of staff they have to guide activities and support the kids.” Camp Parent, 2015
